Some portraits begin with a pose. Mine often begin with a story.

A child who loves horses. A grandfather’s golf clubs. A first ballet tutu. A favorite place, a family tradition, or simply a season of childhood that a parent never wants to forget.

I create commissioned fine art portraiture designed around those stories—artwork created not simply to show what someone looked like, but to preserve who they were and what mattered to them.
